Note on: - CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)






Corporate Social Responsibility is an act under which any company weather of district level, state level, national level or international level has to contribute in the progress of their workers family, local community or in the development of town. And company’s basic purpose behind it is to produce overall positive impact on society from which they are continuously getting benefits. In response to society’s contribution, it’s a moral duty of any business unit to contribute in society’s development in various fields.


Organization can contribute in development of society in various ways like through investing money in local education system, by giving opportunities to local people in their unit, by organizing various cultural programs or awareness programs etc.


For instance Reliance is active in social improvement; it has invested in education field in the bid cities of India. It’s not compulsory that any business organization has to contribute their service only but they can help government in spreading awareness about various daises, moral duties, born rights, etc. For instance Tata Tea and Tata salt both always comes with an advertisement which has moral or ethical message. In the same way there are some other companies which are in collaboration with other companies helping government in Building schools in all over India, for that they are giving some percentage of their profit to government like Rin, Tide, etc.
